At the mentorship session with the Karakata beneficiaries,  Senator Rafiu urged participants to be focused and determined to harvest the gains of the trainings at Karakata 2022.

"The benefits of being an entrepreneur is so unquantifiable at the expense of gunning for monthly employments.

I am sure many of you never believed this could be a reality.. This innovative empowerment is first in the history of Kwara South and should encourage the young population by productively utilizing the trainings acquired and the start up to be given to all.

The Digital, E - Commerce and Digital finance empowerment under the Karakata Scheme started its trainings 4 weeks ago in online digital platforms..

The 350 Beneficiaries from Kwara South after a 3 weeks training exercise have just completed their physical training and assessments at Omu Aran and Offa respectively, to decide the Super and Mega Stars of the 2022 

I charge you participants to give more of passion, financial discipline and be prepared to implement all that had been taught at Karakata 2022, for you not to return to the job search market after the closing ceremonies. 

I remind you all that, in the history of Kwara South, no one, not even an office holder, has ever empowered young people to the tune of 350, with requisite trainings and N50,000, N100,000, N250,000 start up grants respectively". Not even me, while in office.

I urge you all to sustain this Legacy Of Hope.

Pls let your actions encourage other political gladiators and to encourage other young people that there is life outside the job search market.

This Session would be followed by an inter LG Football Competition in Kwara South from Monday 13th February, 2023, where the first 3 LGAs would emerge to claim cash prices and Karakata 2022 would be concluded with a befitting Closing ceremony to the admiration of all.
