 *Harvest of Mass Defections from APC, SDP to PDP in Kwara South

It is mind blowing to observe that there have been massive defections from the ruling APC in the Southern part of Kwara in the State.

The way and manner the Umbrella is being embraced is alarming as many begin to see the obvious lack of synergy, lack of direction and lack of recognition for hardworking members of the party.

Even many APC members that remain in the party have said repeatedly they are only waiting to reap the reward for their sweat by taking their campaign shares.

Many who cannot hold it any longer have dropped their resignation letters from the sinking APC in the state.

A few weeks ago, an SA in Ilorin, and in Kwara North resigned their appointments to join the PDP. We felt that was all.

Few weeks later, Barrister Titilope Akogun, an erstwhile Kwara State House of Assembly aspirant from Irepodun LGA dumped the APC for the PDP.

Since the PDP Kwara South tours began, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, the PDP Senatorial Candidate and Engr. Dare Bankole, the PDP House of Reps Candidate have received lots of decampees from Eruku, Obo ile, Isapa, and several notable stakeholder keep joining the party in droves daily.

Yesterday, Dr.. Rafiu Ibrahim in company on the House of Rep Candidate, Dare Bankole, the Assembly Candidate for Oke ero, Comrade Monday  Oyekan and other PDP's cheitains conducted the reception of the decampees during the senator's ward-to-ward tour to the Erinmope/Imoji/Ilale ward of Oke-Ero LG

Stating the reason behind their defection, the decampees said their former party under the leadership of Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq lacks honesty in his over three years of leadership in Kwara . 

Few days ago, an SDP Youth Group with membership in all the LGAs of KwaraSouth, also denounced their support base to support the PDP.

This evening, it is soothing that several top members in the incumbent Reps Member, Hon Raheem Tunji Ajuloopin's team have just decided to dump the APC.

By the time the Kwara South tours are concluded, only God knows how many supporters and stakeholders would be left in the party due to their lack of Innovation in Leadership,  untold hardship and leadership without direction in the region.
