KWAYORG CHALLENGES STATE GOVERNMENT & ASSEMBLY MEMBERS ON COVID PALLIATIVES

KWAYORG CHALLENGES KWARA STATE GOVERNMENT AND ITS STATE REPRESENTATIVES ON PALLIATIVES ' HOARDING.

Kwara South Youth Development Organization (KWAYORG) calls on the State Government and all the 10 Representatives at the State House of Assembly to explain the circumstances leading to the hoarding of the palliatives meant for the people of the region.

The President of the organization; Barrister Titilope Akogun had queried the representatives of the region at the State Assemblies, alleging connivance and sabotage with the State Government and the need for the Representatives at the State level to do more for their constituents.

The Kwara Central Senator had on Friday decried the looting of palliatives meant for the good people of Kwara South after it had been hoarded for unknown reasons since May 2020.

"Kwara Central and North getting it's own entitlements, while Kwara South portions are hoarded in the face of widespread hunger and starvation to be burgled and looted by the people of the Central, is a great disservice to the good people of our region", the President Stated.

We hereby charge our Honourable members in the House of Assembly and the State Government to explain the circumstances leading to the hoarding of the palliatives meant for Kwara Southerners in a cargo warehouse in Ilorin.

The whole region is watching while we identify the true representatives of our respective constituencies in the state.

The essence of having State Representatives is to be the eye of the people at the State level.

A time when there is intentional connivance to sabotage and deny the good people of Kwara State it's rightful benefits without any of our Honourable members raising an eyebrow is condemnable.

As an Organisation,  we will continue to serve as watchdogs towards ensuring an even representation of our constituents at large.

KWAYORG PRESIDENT URGES KWARA SOUTH YOUTH TO MARCH ON!

*KWAYORG CHARGES KWARA SOUTH YOUTH TO PREPARE AHEAD OF FURTHER CHALLENGES AND POSSIBILITIES*

The leadership of Kwara South Youth Development Organization (KWAYORG) congratulates every youth of the region on making the last quarter of the month hale and hearty.

The year has been limited by the pandemic that ravaged the world in  the early parts of 2020.

It's a signal much more prayers are required to have more fruitful and peaceful years on Earth.

The Organization wish to appreciate every member in the region and at the same time appreciate the leaders of the region who have prioritized the empowerment of our youth and the development of our respective communities.

Reiterating on our challenges of unemployment,  lack of funding for business ideas, sustainable empowerments and the dire need for revamping of our vocational training Centres, we urge us to march on!

We are getting better than our past and we believe our leaders are getting the conviction that there is nothing that impacts and progresses our young people in our Senatorial district than a very sustainable and holistic empowerment.

We will continue to reiterate the need to empower our youth on 21st century skills and empowerment in the place of the archaic and primitive ways of empowerment of the past years.

In the weeks ahead, the organization would be unveiling its Planning Committee and modalities for Kwara South Youth Conference 2020, as we prepare to step up our game, and its Convention Committee to elect New leaders to lead the organization, while we continue to engage with our leaders and all stakeholders towards the attainment of the goals of every Youth of our region.

We will as well be releasing the google form for registration of all the local youth clubs, associations and Organizations in our respective Communities in Kwara South.

We urge us to be focused and to keep our candles burning. We urge us to be productive and goal oriented as we march on in the new months.

We as well urge us all to drive safely, shun social and criminal vices and be abreast of all activities of the organization in Kwara South.

Signed:

Barrister Titilope Akogun

Senator Ashiru celebrates the Odofin of Babanloma

Celebrating Dr. Femi Ogunshola

“Imule Baba mi ni” (my Baba’s confidant) whenever you hear the drummers with this sound, one can easily know that they are about to eulogize Dr. Femi Ogunshola.

Dr. Femi Ogunshola, high chief Odofin of Babaloma, the umbilical cord that connect  him and  Senator Oyelola Ashiru is to the envy of people.

‘Kini iwo omo yi n se’ as a father he is ready to correct whenever you err, ‘iwo omo yi ose daadaa’ as a teacher he will scold and put you right.

Here’s to appreciate Dr. Femi Ogunshola for standing tall for the love of Kwara South, here’s to also celebrate his
unique personality and his fatherly love for all.

Happy birthday sir, Cheers to more amazing life.
