Yesterday, 31st January 2023 the Barr Bello Afolayan (OLUOMO) Campaign Council, Aran axis embarked on Sensitization cum voter education rally to boost the morale of party faithful and to canvass the electorates for votes in Omu Aran City. 

The massive procession had in attendance People's Democratic Party Candidate for House of Assembly, Barr. Bello Afolayan (OLUOMO), Deputy Governorship Candidate, Hon. Gbenga Peter Makanjuola Esq, amidst cheers and banter from the locals who easily identified with him.

Engr. Dare Bankole PDP House of Representatives Candidate for Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/OkeEro Federal Constituency who was unavoidable absent due to other pressing engagement was ably represented by his Irepodun Campaign Coordinator. 

Other prominent party stalwarts at the epoch making rally are LGA Party Chairman Mr. Wole Adeyeye,  former TIC Chairman and Director General Bello Afolayan Campaign Council Hon. Kazeem Adekanye and another former Council Chairman Hon. Muyiwa Oladipo, PDP, Ward Party of Omu Aran (1and 3), Oko, Ipetu/Rore/Aran Orin respectively also in attendance and party elders led by Chief Kola Adewumi and others such as Chief Joseph Ajiboye, Mr Tele Abifarin, Mr S.A Atolagbe, Barr. Bello Afolayan Campaign Ward Coordinators from Oro II, Omu Aran (I, II and III), Oko, Arandun and Ipetu/Rore/Aran Orin and other members of the Oluomo Campaign Council.

Irepodun women were led by the ever active women leader Hajia Mulikat Abdulsalam, another notable women such as Hajia Nimota Ajulo, Hajia Mariam Awoso, Mrs Rachel Adebayo, ward women leaders and women groups and forums (OLUOMO Women Forum).

The event was made more lively by our energetic youth that have been greatly affected by the close of their school for almost a year. Alh. Wasiu Awoniyi, Youth leader Irepodun, Barr. Titilope Akogun, Alh Gani Owolewa, Comrade, Alh Fatai Adebayo, Mrs Omobola Adedeji Director Adm PCC and host of other. 

The rally was validated by the chants of "O Suwa" by passerbys and shop owner (traders) as the train passed through major Roads in Omu Aran owing to the high level of living cost without corresponding source of income. Some of them lamented that, "we have never had it this bad, you don't need to tell us we know what to do with a fingers" 

OLUOMO while on the move urge indigenes and residents of Omu Aran to come out en masse to exercise their franchise come 25th of February, 2023 and vote H.E Atiku Abubakar GCON, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim (PhD) and Engr Dare Bankole respectively to ensure Nigeria is returned to the track of sustainable development. 

Similarly, OLUOMO enlightened electorates on the need to Vote PDP Gubernatorial candidate Alh.Shuaib Yaman Abdullah and his running mate Barr. Gbenga Makanjuola and his humble self (OLUOMO) as their representative at the State House of Assembly.
