 **Kwara APC has become an empty but lousy barrel bereft of campaign ideas" - Akogun**. 

All meaning Kwarans would have noted of late, the unfounded  and noisy campaign of the ruling All Progressives Congress and its sinking Candidate.

One would have expected a party like APC Kwara, who got all the free support of Kwarans in 2019 with lies and deceit,, to be at all fonts, brandishing meaningful and impactful achievements as campaign tools for the re - election of its Gubernatorial Candidate in the State.

It is disheartening the party has become a noisy assemblage of a few sinking forum portraying themselves as a party.

In the last 3years plus, the party had gone through ceaseless downsizing from being a party with several heavyweights and committed party men to a forum with few noisemen(Apologies to the few hardworking ones).

In the 2019 elections, we had the likes of Prof Oba AbdulRaheem,  Mallam Lukman Mustapha, Sen. Gbemisola Saraki, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, Alh Gobir, Alh Abdullah Yaman, Alh Makama, Alh Hakeem Lawal and a host of others who galvanized resources and support of all their followers for the emergence of the outgoing Governor of the State.

To note that, the Governorship Candidate of the party no longer enjoy the support of the ministers from the state, and 90 percent of all the Gubernatorial aspirants in the 2019 election goes to show how empty the party has become.

The downsizing of all the party stewalts which brought him to office was the first assignment of the Governor upon assumption of office, which pushed lots of committed Progressives to other Political parties.

Firstly were the Committed and audacious members and executives led by the BOB which metamorphosed into SDP, Lately is the return of Com. Musbau Esinrogunjo, Barrister Titilope Akogun, Comrade Kayode Ogunlowo, Chief SS Ajibola, Hon Segun Okunloye and host of others who were all at the forefront of the APC campaign have all returned to the PDP in the state.

The Current APC had not only lost all the Gubernatorial aspirants, but had further downsized as more party men continue to exit the party.

Senator Ajadi left the party to strengthen the ADC, with Gbenga Power and host of other aspirants and party men.

Several appointed S.As have left the party which had adversely dwindled the fortunes of the party. This is unprecedented in the history of Kwara State. What the current APC could do is to leave the multitudes leaving the party in droves to make noise of how it is in power and ready to take it by force by romancing one or two inconsequential politicians received into their party.

It had also thought of disparaging and dragging Senator Dr. Bukola Saraki with unfounded appellations of old that "do no longer sell" in Kwara State.

The party need to be reminded it is not going to be business as usual, as the People of Kwara have eventually seen the light and the world is about to be shown how empty the Kwara APC has become, due to the party lacking in Leadership and policies that positively affect the lives of their citizens..

The situation is further worsened by the hardship the party had melted on the good people of Kwara is unbearable and no sane Kwaran is expected to believe in the tales of the APC.

I urge the good people of Kwara State to be resilient and expectant as the Peoples Democratic Party continue to prepare the ground for the emergence of an innovative,   prepared and noiseless administrator as the next Governor of Kwara State to place the state in the Committee of viable and productive states in the Country.
