An aphorism says ”…time flies but memory lingers and good deed will surely be juxtaposed.” without much ado,let me start by saying that ,It is highly mindful and thoughtful of Sen.Rafiu Ibrahim to extend his benevolences and as well reach out to the vulnerable,youths,young adults and unemployed people across the seven (7) local government in Kwara South, with his great initiative of “Karakata”. It is not a gainsaying that he had written his name on a platter of gold and put smile on faces of many hopeless people of kwara south with this indelible program “Karakata”….
The quick stats of the survey for the first stage of “Karakata” had really shown the inestimable numbers of many kwarans who still feed from spoon to apron as the state of the nation and statue quo is very disheartening …those who are unemployed,many who could not raise money for bossiness,to mention few , across the seven local government area in Kwara South are now been reach out to in this tumultuous time.It is highly commendable that senator Rafiu had deem it fit to empower 350 people across 7 local government he once represented and still vying to represent.He his really a visionary and a rare leader endowed with mental ambidextrous skills and passion to represent in a grandeur style.
I dare not fail to commend the unreserved magnanimousness effort of the management of “Karakata” for their transparency,competency,human relations virtues and instrument of egalitarianism that was employed during the screening process.It is Crystal clear that the process was so fair,transparent,free of nepotism,religious bigotry,political affiliation and any form of anomie as the program is not party centered,despite the fact that it is party based.
In furtherance,It is on this note,I once again appreciate Senator Rafiu Ibrahim for been very thoughtful and cornucopia enough to support the sundry in this indelible epoch .This program “Karakata” to me me is human capacity development ,skill dispensation and money for business funding will go a along way to enhance many people to be self reliance,skilled enough to sustain amidst the economic hardship and as well enable the beneficiaries to contribute their quota for the betterment of their communities,local government area and kwara state at large. It is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that Karakata is one of the type of programs that is needed so as to reach out to many so as to alleviate poverty and reduce unemployment to nadir.
In culmination,I cease this medium to bring my unreserved attitude of gratitude and give thanks for a wonderful program like this. knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than this present moment.
